Japanese Voyeurs - Camden Barly

Wednesday night seemed to have a lot going on, there were several shows and an exhibition opening I would have liked to have gone to but I could only do one event. I had a pass for a show but that fell through, luckily I got to see Japanese Voyeurs at The Barfly in Camden (sometimes good things come out of plans that don't work out). I'm still very much trying to get back into the swing of shooting shows and this one was a good one to be that.
I struggled a little to get my flash settings right so I swapped to using my 50mm f1.8 lens and it was quite nice using it again. I haven't really had much need for it but it was a pretty good lens that night. At times there was barely any light on stage which made focusing a bit difficult but I'm quite happy with the shots.
Japanese Voyeurs are a great band (which I've mentioned before) and I always enjoy seeing them. The crowd got pretty rowdy during JV which was great but I have to say one of the highlights of the night was one of the support bands, Blacklisters. Despite some problems with their gear they played a pretty solid set. Must make sure I catch them again.
You can see the rest of the photos from the gig here.
I'm shooting another London Rollergirls bout at Earls Court on Saturday which will be fun. I've created a new part of my website dedicated to my LRG photos which I will put up once the ones from this coming bout are all edited and uploaded. I'm quite excited about putting it up as I think it will work quite well for this.
